Thanks to this combined ticket you will be able to discover the beauty of these two timeless places.
The Basilica of Saint Pudenziana was considered for centuries the oldest Christian church in Rome, built on the domus of Senator Pudens who, together with his two daughters Pudenziana and Prassede, would have been converted by the apostle Peter. Of notable importance is the very famous Apse Mosaic, which has remained almost intact and has recently been returned to its original splendour. With this visit, in addition to the Basilica, it will also be possible to admire the wonderful Underground and the Marian Oratory.
The Basilica of Saint Mary Major or Basilica Liberiana is one of the four papal basilicas of Rome, located in Piazza dell'Esquilino on the top of the homonymous hill, between the Rione Monti and the Esquiline. It is the only basilica in Rome to have preserved the primitive paleo-Christian structure. So dear to the Romans for the presence of the icon of the Salus Populi Romani. In both types of visits, it will also be possible to admire the Loggia delle Benedizioni, the Staircase by Gian Lorenzo Bernini and the Liberian Historical Museum, areas normally closed to the public.
